TDI Sidemount

Want to experience total diving freedom? Sidemount diving is more than just looking cool. Find out why it is our preferred method.

True redundancy, the ability to access and repair gear underwater, reduced drag and improved stability
…there are many reasons to dive sidemount but the most important reason to us is the feeling of freedom, the ability to move and hang in all directions effortlessly.

Our sidemount course functions as an Intro to Tec and goes beyond the minimum required by TDI. We put a lot of emphasis on having your equipment properly fitted, as it is the first step in optimizing the benefits and enjoying side mount diving. This course is designed to teach certified divers how to safely utilize sidemounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted configuration.

This course can be combined with other TDI courses such as: Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures and Trimix.

Course Length: Minimum 2 days, 3 dives

Costs: $250 per day
1diver $225 per day 2-3 divers

Includes Materials, Equipment, Air Fills and Certification Fee

Prerequisites: 18 years of age, Open Water certification

*Note: We provide equipment for all our courses. However, we recommend each student have their own sidemount harness. Sidemount gear is highly adjustable but it must be adjusted to each diver. Having your own harness ensures that the time spent sizing and adjusting it will not be wasted by having to return our equipment at the end of your course. Not all sidemount gear is created equal. There are several brands we recommend. Let us help choose the right system for you.

Cause we're probably underwater.
